The therapeutic effects of a trip to the sea go far beyond vitamin D and stress relief. The natural composition of the waves - sea salts, algae and seaweed - are packed full of nourishing minerals. Their healing qualities detoxify, feed the nervous system, relieve muscular tension and have effective antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
The good news for our cold climate friends is if you can't escape to the ocean, the next best thing is a salt water bath: add two cups of Epsom Salts to a warm bath to heal and soothe the body and help stimulate the lymphatic drainage system.
